Privacy Policy
Snapmonic ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered photo transformation mobile application developed by Mustafa Çetin. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully. By using Snapmonic, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Photos and Images: When you use our AI transformation features, you provide photos from your camera or photo library. These images are temporarily processed to generate transformed results and are not permanently stored on our servers.
- Account Information: If you create an account or sign in using Google or Apple Sign-In, we collect your email address and basic profile information provided by these services.
- Purchase Information: When you subscribe or make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your purchase status but do not have access to your payment card details.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including features used, transformation history (metadata only), and app performance data.
- Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics and Facebook SDK to collect anonymized usage statistics to improve our services.
- Crash Reports: If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects diagnostic information to help us fix issues.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we collect your device token to send you relevant updates.
Photo Processing and AI
When you use our AI transformation features:
- Your photos are temporarily uploaded to our secure servers (Firebase Storage) for processing.
- Photos are processed using Replicate's AI services to generate transformed images.
- Temporary uploads are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
- We do not use your photos for training AI models or any purpose other than providing you with the transformation service.
- Transformed images are returned to your device and saved locally to your photo library if you choose to save them.
Face Data
The photos you submit for AI transformation may contain facial images. Snapmonic does not independently collect, store, analyze, or use face data for any purpose such as facial recognition, identity verification, or advertising.
Photos containing faces are temporarily transmitted to Replicate's AI infrastructure solely to apply the visual transformation effect you selected. The handling of such data by Replicate is governed by Replicate's Privacy Policy. We do not control Replicate's internal data practices beyond our service agreement with them.
Any facial data contained in your photos is retained only for the duration of the transformation process and is automatically deleted from our servers (Firebase Storage) immediately after processing is complete, typically within minutes.
